June is fast approaching and this is the time of year that the club makes the annual donations to the local and international organizations that we will support this year. That said, it is very helpful if we have all incoming receivables in our operating account when we do this. If you have't paid your club dues, please do so as it does help with the final number we calculate for the annual giving.
Hazardous Waste Collection - June 2
The Health Department is sponsoring the next hazardous waste collection day on June 2 from 9am - Noon at the transfer station. There is an official extensive list of all the items they are accepting, but most important to us, they are collecting clean, white styrofoam for free! It must be clean, be marked with a #6 PS symbol, and be white. This includes, among other things, block packaging and coolers, but NOT packaging peanuts or food trays.
Installation Dinner - June 28th
Our Club's Installation Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, June 28th. Therefore, there will be NO breakfast meeting on Tuesday, June 26th. Please make those changes to your calendars!
WANTED: Scuttlebutt Replacement
Melissa will be hanging up her Scuttlebutt hat soon...which means we are looking for someone to collect Scuttlebutt news each week, format the news into the newsletter template in ClubRunner and get it sent out electronically to the club. Don't worry, Melissa has all the processes in place, so it will be an easy position to take over. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Melissa at melissa@feelingorganized.com

Rotarians of the Year
The deadline for nominations for Rotarians of the Year is fast approaching. Please consider nominating that special Rotarian who, as a member of your club, is Making a Difference, always going above and beyond in service to the club. In addition, if there is a district leader/volunteer who has made a dramatic impact this year, consider nominating them as well.
Each individual chosen will be recognized with a Rotarian of the Year pin at the Club and District Installation on June 14th.
This is your chance to applaud their Service Above Self! Reach out to your fellow members to do the same. The link to make a nomination is: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JXQ9GGN
