Since the earthquake in Haiti, The Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor has been a regular contributor to ShelterBox the global charity started by a Rotary Club in Cornwall England and supported by Rotarians around the world. Recently, a ShelterBox tent and its life saving content was set up at the Marblehead Farmers Market.

Two million refugees have fled the escalating violence in Syria, and more than 4 million remain displaced within the country’s borders.
They are in desperate need of shelter and other vital supplies. With winter just around the corner, conditions are expected to worsen.

The need now is greater than ever, and ShelterBox offers a winterized shelter solution. ShelterBox continues to shelter families in Syria, Iraqi Kurdistan, Lebanon and Jordan.
ShelterBox teams are working in the region to ensure this lifesaving aid reaches those most vulnerable. The ShelterBox goal is to provide shelter for 5,000 more families over the coming months. The Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor is proud of its continued support of ShelterBox
