~Update on Coats and Food for Salem State Students ~
Our First Coat Delivery to Campus was Last Wednesday
We delivered 11 Winter Coats and 7 Raincoats
Because you all were so prompt and generous,
the Office of Student Life
is able to conduct the coat distribution two weeks early!
They will let us know if additional coats are needed.

Meanwhile...Food Donations for the Feed a Viking Market
are still needed.
Thank you to everyone who has already made donations.
There are two ways to gift food items to the Feed a Viking Market.
Please note, if at all possible, please select a delivery date on a weekday -
NOT Saturday or Sunday or weekend dates.

1.  Purchase needed items directly for the Market through the Amazon Wish List.
https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1KYAPGQ7SPOFB/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex
2. Give financially: Make a financial donation through the Salem State crowdfunding page.
https://crowdfunding.salemstate.edu/project/20834/donate

Just a Reminder - Here's The Reason Why
According to Salem State’s Spring 2026 National College Health Assessment,
• 49.2% of students surveyed reported that their food did not last, and they could not afford more
• 50.5% reported that they could not afford balanced meals.
• Nearly one in four, 24.5%, reported being hungry but not eating because they lacked money. "

Thank you all for your compassion and generosity. Please remember that all coat donations and communication to the university should be funneled through Jessica.
Thank you!

Nepal Relief Update
from Tricia...
The Peace Corp volunteer serving in Nepal ended up taking three donation bags full of clothing on Tuesday, October 13, and delivered them safely to Tricia's Rotary friend in Nepal.
Financial donations are still welcome.
Please let your friends and families know.
The donation link on our Marblehead Harbor Rotary website is above.
Thank you all for you kindness and generous support for the people who are half way around the world and suffering so much.
