Following National Polio Day on Monday, October 24, our own service member Francie King will be sharing a very personal look at polio. 

In 1985, Rotary launched its PolioPlus program, the first initiative to tackle global polio eradication through the mass vaccination of children. Rotary has contributed more than $2 billion and countless volunteer hours to immunize more than 3 billion children in 122 countries.

It is the persoal stories, like Francie will be sharing with us, that remind us how essential it is to keep up this important work - especially when we are so very close to eradicating polio. 

Imagine! Holiday Pops is Returning to Abbot Hall!    • Sponsorship Campaign! Now through November 10 - Please set your own personal sponsor-raising goal...   All members should have received the Holiday Pops Sponsorship Kit with three documents: • Sponsor Cover Letter • List of the Club's Previous Giving • Sponsorship Levels and Commitment Form        Set your own goal for the number of individuals and businesses you will invite to sponsor  the return of Holiday Pops.      Sponsorship levels are $100  up to $2,500. Most levels include concert tickets.      Traditionally the sponsorships provide the funds we will later use to support the work of worthy charitable causes -- not only our own scholarships and charitable projects, but the noble causes we learn about every week through our inspiring guest speakers.       These documents are also available to download from our club website at rotaryclubofmheadharbor.org.      Please read through the documents.
