This week we are pleased to have Jo Ann Simons, CEO of NE ARC Center for Linking Lives at our Tuesday morning meeting. The Center serves individuals throughout the North Shore with programs and services that include: support for families who have children diagnosed with autism or other intellectual disabilities, early intervention, residential and health services, supported employment, an assistive technology lending library, and skills training.
We have exciting possible collaborations with organizations represented by our recent speakers. Our members are connecting with folks regarding the Ghana project and with the Rotarian who spoke with us about the Rotary Children’s Fund.
I asked last week for members to help with our public image, publicity, and social media. My email has not been overwhelmed with replies. If no volunteers come forward some of you may be receiving a strong arm (not knee cap time yet).
Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, known as a day of service. We have a few service opportunities in which we all can participate.
