Happy Sunday!!!  I am in what is supposed to be sunny Florida. Friday it was, nice warm beach weather. Today we have our winter woollies on, not the 250 of MHD but 550.  To add excitement, I was in the warmups of pickleball when I lunged for a ball fell and broke two bones in my right hand.   Puts a damper on kayaking and more racket sports.  But now I have an excuse to not shovel.

This Tuesday we will have Katherine Koch from the Chamber of Commerce coming to talk with us.  We have wanted to know how we might help local businesses so she might help.

Thanks to you all we had great response to the questionnaire.  And we had great suggestions for service projects and speakers.  The consensus about meeting in-person-hybrid is to consider a March 1st opening if the covid numbers allow.  For breakfast the suggestion from the BOD is to have coffee, tea, and pastries for the first month to keep costs down.  Everyone will pay for breakfast at the door.  I will check with Louise the cost and let you know.

At our last meeting we considered 3 service projects: 1. A large (to be determined how large) yard sale, 2. Chef lessons from our local eateries (maybe one a month), 3. Old Burial Hill clean-up and maybe other historic locations.   Please check in with Jess #1, Mike #2, and Pam #3 to provide input.  February 8th is our next club assembly we will further this discussion
