WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR CLUB'S 3rd SHELTER BOX?

For years, members of the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor have championed ShelterBox and have served as ShelterBox ambassadors to District 7930 starting with Ed Bell, right, and now Kathleen Murphy, left.
ShelterBox is a cutting-edge charity that hand-delivers emergency shelter for families devastated by natural disaster and conflict. Shelter Box is now providing shelter in 13 countries in response to disasters and emergencies.
The sturdy green ShelterBoxes contain family-sized tents specially designed to withstand the elements and provide people with temporary shelter until they are able to start the process of rebuilding a home.
Kathleen's Shelter Box presentation was so compelling that two of our members pledged to sponsor a box each and another member kicked off funding for a third box. Each box is $1,000.

To contribute to our club's third box, please send your donation to Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor, PO Box 941, Marblehead, MA 01945 and be sure to write ShelterBox in the check's memo line.
We have an opportunity to support the good work of The Rotary Club of Marblehead as they have supported us.
Please consider contributing to the Rotary Club of Marblehead's 5K Walk/Run taking place on Sunday, November 6, from noon to 2 p.m. starting at the Boston Yacht Club.
This year's event will benefit the mental health and well-being of Marblehead youth by offering strategies to cope with anxiety, depression, and to support their mental health in general by providing the Marblehead schools with a Daily Mindfulness program created by Inner Explorer, a program used in over 7,000 schools.
Contributions can be sent to Rotary Club of Marblehead 5K, PO Box 1008, Marblehead, MA 01945.
     For more information, visit https://www.marbleheadrotary.com.
The Marblehead Rotary Clubs are actively participating in the community. Please note this is the same day and time as our club's Holiday Pops Artist Reception for Holly Aloha Jaynes at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Marblehead.
