Hosting a Very Special Lunch Visit
and for Their Great Generosity
Marblehead Harbor's founding in 1996 was with the support and cooperation of the Marblehead Rotary (Afternoon Club) to serve as sponsors of our new breakfast club, allowing both clubs to coexist and thrive within the same community. Their generosity included the gift of our official club banner and our Rotary bell.
Representatives from Marblehead Rotary were invited to lunch last Thursday and also given speaking time for Club President Marguerite to thank our hosts for their integral role in our founding and for Dr. Patricia Sullivan to report on the situation in Nepal and the progress of the Nepal Relief Fund.
We thank Marblehead Rotary not only for their gracious hospitality but also for their generosity in a gift of $300 to the club to celebrate our 30th Anniversary plus a donation of $1,000 to the Nepal Relief Fund.

Judith Black at The Cabot Theater - Sept. 23
Club Member Judith Black will perform in "Voting is No Joke: A Variety Show" at the Cabot Theater in Beverly on Wednesday, September 23 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with host comedian John McClellan, and folk singer Tom Smith. The show is a non-partisan evening celebrating civic participation through storytelling, comedy, live music, trivia and prizes. The event is free, but registration is required through the ticketing link on the Cabot's website, https://thecabot.org/

The bell will ring at 7:45 a.m. with the speaker / program starting at 8 a.m. by vote of the membership.
This change was made to
better accommodate the schedules of parents who'd like to join us \yet need to see their children are at school on time.
