Tricia has asked that we do our best to find items that are not packaged in plastic.
If you are able to donate any of these items, please bring them to a Tuesday morning meeting or deliver them to Jessica's front porch at 217 Humphrey Street.
Every item - whatever the quantity - will be appreciated.
In support of the Food Pantry: The First Tuesday of Every Month
As we learned from Janet Fitch Parker's eloquent letter last week,
the Food Pantry is serving quite a number of people.
In response, we will be restarting our monthly food collection to benefit the Food Pantry.
As you are able, please consider bringing donations of non-perishable food items for the Pantry to our breakfast meeting on
March 7
April 4
May 2
June 6
In support of the Salem State Students' Career Closet
The last day to make contributions is Tuesday, March 7.
Donations can be brought to our breakfast meetings or
delivered to Jessica's front porch at 217 Humphrey Street.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed!
Although there are donation bins located across campus, the bin where our club's donations are going is located in the business school. I am so grateful to our members. I have been able to deliver donations just about every day and it looks to me as if all the donations - with the exception of only a very few other donations - have all come from our club members.
And beautiful and handsome items they are!
This year's Career Closet is being held on Wednesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 23 from
10 am-6 pm. The Career Services Office says the Career Closet will provide Salem State University students access to 1,500+ FREE, new and gently-used professional attire items
Thank you for your contributions and generosity!
Reminder: Rotary Leadership Institute Sessions on Zoom

Here is our club's “Snow Day Policy” for Winter 2023
We would like to determine our winter meeting cancellations the afternoon/evening before our scheduled breakfast meeting to respect Louise Moore’s time and safety and to respect the concerns of our guest speakers and all of our members relative to
their plans, scheduling and safety.
Therefore...
• In general, if Marblehead Public Schools declare a school closing the day/afternoon before,
we will also cancel.
• If there are 3 or more inches of snow and it is still snowing at 9 p.m. the evening before,
we will cancel.
• If there is concern about ice, we will cancel.
• The club president will consult with Club Secretary Don Doliber who commanded a fleet of school busses during the winter, with President Elect Linda Doliber, with VP Lee Weed and Treasurer Tim Shotmeyer for final approval as well as Louise Moore and
the Speaker Committee so they can contact the speaker if one is scheduled.
• Unless otherwise indicated, cancellation means a complete cancellation with NO Zoom option.
However, please pay special attention to the cancellation notification because
a Zoom option may be offered.
•The club president will do their best to send out snow cancellation information the afternoon/evening before.
• Finally, please be sure to use your own good judgment about declaring
your own “personal snow day” as you know what is safest and wisest for you.
Did we forget to mention anything?
If so, let us know on Tuesday in person or on Zoom.
Thank you, everyone!
