ARTIST RECEPTION RECAP   A fabulously successful Artist Reception was held this past Wednesday. Thanks to honorary members  Karyn Lang and Pam Peterson for organizing the affair, Chef Louise for the beautifully presented sandwich and dessert platters, fellow Rotarian  Gene Arnould for MC'ing the unveiling of Mark Shasha's stunning painting, "Heading Home" and to those who staffed the raffle and notecard sales table: Jessica, Margaret, and Margaret's husband George.   Mark, accompanied by his lovely wife Danuta, was gracious in his words about the good work of Rotary and his pleasure at being invited to participate in the Pops efforts. In addition to his painting, he also generously donated a collection of his children's books to the sale table.  Those gathered were enthralled with his  explanation of the Bohemian ethics of his painting style and of the various art forms including music and theater in which he participates. Jessica was heard to note that the Bohemian style includes many of the principals on which Rotary is based. Our thanks to Mark! Onward to a successful Holiday Pops!   **************************************************    ROTARY LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE   Virtual, two-nights: February 27 and 29 Rotarians do not have to be on the club's leadership track to participate. The conversations and breakout sessions are lively and are not formatted as lectures. RCoMH will reimburse 100% of the $25 registration fee for those participants in Part I and 50% of the fee for those taking Part II, Part III and Graduate. See Linda for registration information.
